By CMRA statitics, AGV/AMRs made USD 3.4 billion from manufacturing sector last year. The figure accounted for 65% of the industry’s income.
AGV/AMRs were primarily employed manufacturing plants. Typical jobs of these robots include materials transport, assembly line, and automated warehouse management. Admittedly, the deployment of robotic devices effectively boosted operational efficiency of factories and helped cut labor costs.
