The First Shenzhen (International) Intelligent Sanitation Cleaning Robot Competition is co-organized by the Shenzhen Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation, Shenzhen Bao’an District People’s Government, and Shenzhen Service Bureau for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. The competition is undertaken by the China Low Speed Unmanned Vehicle Industry Alliance.Shenzhen Environmental Sanitation Association, Shenzhen Zhengyi Convention and Exhibition Group Co., Ltd. Simultaneously, the competition is held alongside the Shenzhen (International) Urban Environment Industry Expo at the same venue and during the same period to achieve seamless integration and form the linkage of the two events, advance the interaction of guests and the integration of processes and enrich the content of the activities, which will further combine the influence and demonstration power of the two events. Through the format of competition to advance research, attract investment, gather talents and establish standards, the event will build a global exchange platform by attracting outstanding companies, teams, and talents in the field of intelligent sanitation from both domestic and international to compete on the same stage so as to promote deep integration between AI and environmental sanitation industries. It creates an innovative ecological chain for urban management and environmental sanitation industries, accelerate the formation of new quality productivity of in intelligent sanitation industry.
Rules of Competition
The First Shenzhen (International) Intelligent Sanitation Cleaning Robot Competition contains two major sections: skills demonstration and competitive races. The evaluation criteria are as follows:
(1) Skills Demonstration. The demonstration will gather excellent artificial intelligence (AI) companies form domestic and aboard to bring the public an talent show and demonstrate various skills of cleaning robots include but not limited to intelligent cleaning, turning performance, climbing ability, edge cleaning, collaborative operation, obstacle recognition and avoidance, tangle prevention, spatial maneuverability, network security, garbage packing, automatic charging and docking, automatic garbage dumping, automatic inspection and garbage recognition, etc, which will bring a talent show for the public at the same time.
Competitive Racing. The competition includes 1 day closed-circuit racing and 2 days of open-circuit racing. Special competitions will be conducted in three major scenarios: park plazas, sidewalks, and auxiliary roads with evaluations based on safety, performance, and effectiveness by jury formed by experts, scholars and industry representatives.The assessments include road driving performance, cleaning quality, intelligent management, sensing capabilities, equipment safety, and other additional bonus points.
Award Settings：
This competition is incorporated into the innovation and entrepreneurship competition system, top ranking winner enterprises and teams can be directly promoted to the national Competition of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition with start-up funding opportunities.
Schedule
The closed-circuit racing will take place in a designated shielded area where signal sources are blocked, allowing for the evaluation of AI cleaning robots solely based on technical dimensions.
Skills Demonstration (March 25th – 27th)
Comprehensively showcases the cutting-edge technologies and innovative achievements in the field of AI cleaning at home and abroad through open roadshows and presentations of AI cleaning robots.
Open Competition (March 25th – 26th)
The open competition lasts for 2 days in three major scenarios as park plazas, sidewalks, and auxiliary roads.
Business Matchmaking (March 27th)
We will invite representatives from local government sanitation departments, sanitation service companies,colleges and universities, makers and investment institutions to participant to exchange resources, share technics and invest in the AI products they are interested.
Competition Registration Method
After basic introduction of the competition, we would like to introduce the registration method as below:
Skills Demonstration: Companies and products relate to intelligent sanitation cleaning and in the scope of collaborative working, outdoor cleaning robots, equipment running, side cleaning, network security, garbage packaging, automatic charging, automatic stripping, automatic dumping, intelligent patrol, intelligent identification or others, The deadline for registrations is March 20th.
Skills Competition: Products related to artificial intelligence sanitation robots, registration deadline March 3rd.
Cost statement：
Application fees: Charge on a single competition is RMB 10,000, and amount for multiple competitions is the corresponding cumulative. The fee for participating in the group skills demonstration exhibition is 1000 RMB. If you need to exhibit separately, the booth fee will be charged according to the size of exhibition area.
Appliers who has financial difficulties in paying the fees can apply to the organizer for discretionary fee reduction.
